About Me

Hi there! I’m Stefan Mortl, an avid snowboarder and skier, and I love to shred some serious pow whenever I get the chance! Being born in Wisconsin I’ve always been around snow. Luckily for me, I moved to a mountainous area in East Tennessee when i was about four years old. I have been skiing since I was seven and have recently picked up boarding as well. I have been to just about all the resorts in the surrounding area and have even been lucky enough to shred over seas in the French Alps. Keep on shredding!

I began this blog to help those in the Knoxville area find the best resort and ski shop deals nearest to them. With being in the area so long, I have found the best shops in the area. Also, there are special deals at certain resorts that many folks may be unaware of. Finally, I created this blog just for the love of the sport. Skiing and snowboarding is a serious passion of mine, and being in the southeast, it is relatively unpopular. I hope to spread the love for shredding in the area by making the people of Knoxville more knowledgeable about their local ski amenities. I hope to fill the local resorts with indulged passionate skiers and snowboarders!
